Continue reading the main story Barcelona manager Luis Enrique insists he has not lost the support of his players as they prepare to face title rivals Atletico Madrid.
Media reports in Spain claim Enrique will be sacked following a rumoured rift with Lionel Messi.
"If I felt the players weren't on my side, I would leave the club but I don't feel that is the case," he said.
Barcelona enter the weekend one point behind leaders Real Madrid and level on points with Atletico.
The former Barcelona player, who left Celta Vigo for the Catalan giants in the summer, added: "Managing a squad is about managing egos, that's what I'm doing. It's the same with any club.
"It's not a question of feeling supported by the board, it's concentrating on my job, which I am 100%.
"Our season is going very well. My mobile phone is overloaded by support of how well we are doing. The feedback and love I get from this club is a massive boost for me."
There has been turmoil off the pitch with the club hit by a transfer embargo, director of football Andoni Zubizarreta and his assistant Carles Puyol - both Barca legends as players - have left and Messi has been linked with a move to Chelsea.
Enrique said: "Tension is part of this situation. If we win the Champions League and the league then it might disappear. It's part of what it is at the club."
Former Liverpool and Chelsea striker Fernando Torres is likely to make his second league debut for Atletico following his loan signing from AC Milan.
Torres, 30, started and played almost an hour as Los Rojiblancos beat Real Madrid 2-0 in the first leg of their last-16 Copa del Rey tie on Wednesday.
