Follow the FA Cup on BBC in January

January is FA Cup month across the BBC, with daily content on TV, radio and online to cover one of the world's most famous club knockout competitions.


You can catch-up via BBC iPlayer on a special BBC Three show counting down the FA Cup's 50 greatest moments.


The BBC, the home of the FA Cup, will also have all the action, reaction and stories of the third and fourth rounds.


The FA Cup has returned to the BBC this year with more coverage than ever before.


And January will bring FA Cup content every day of the month on all BBC platforms as Premier League sides enter the competition. Coverage includes:

Former England captain Rio Ferdinand and Helen Skelton present a special countdown of the FA Cup's 50 Greatest Moments on iPlayer. There are contributions from Thierry Henry, Ryan Giggs, Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, Vinnie Jones, Gary Lineker and Ruud Gullit, plus football fans Gabby Logan, comedian Russell Brand, pop stars Olly Murs, Louis Tomlinson, Wretch 32 and Eliza Doolittle.

Other BBC television programmes to watch out for include an FA Cup Question of Sport on 2 January and a Pointless special on BBC One on 3 January, while the next day commentator John Motson will be voicing the continuity on BBC One, giving the channel the voice of football. Guy Mowbray will do the same on 5 January.


BBC Radio 5 live and the BBC Sport website will be asking you to vote for your greatest FA Cup third-round moment on 2 January. This includes a radio show with the final 10 discussed by an expert panel.


On the BBC Sport website, Wimbledon's 1988 final win over Liverpool will be given the 'Rewind' treatment, with text commentary reliving the match as it happened. You can also watch the match in full online and on the red button.


There will also be highlights of a classic FA Cup match on the website every day of the month.


Elsewhere, BBC Playlister will be launching the FA Cup Playlist over the third round weekend, collating all the songs used in BBC FA Cup programmes from round one through to the final.


As well as the special features throughout the month, the BBC will also bring you numerous live broadcasts on the TV, radio and online as well as all analysis, highlights and interviews.
