'Beware !' Marcus Bentley boomed at the start of every episode over the weekend, before warning us that the following programme hour would contain offensive language, adult themes, and now – to make matters worse - Katie Price.
There was also a new addition to the toxic recipe of this year's CBB – what Bentley called 'adult chat', although 'adult' is not really a word you would use to describe the calibre of discussion and observation going on.

Still, with the raging feuds brewing between Hopkins and Hilton, this year's series may yet be re-named Celebrity Big Stabber if either of them goes turns their increasingly heated threats into action.

All over: Alexander left the Celebrity Big Brother house after a furious row with the US blogger Light relief has been in shockingly short supply.
The surreal drama of BananaGate last week seems a long time ago.
'I put two bananas by - because I like bananas,' Alicia Douvall confessed when her ploy of burrowing away bananas (other housemates' bananas) for an emergency was exposed.
'That's not going to work babe,' Katie Hopkins advised her like a mother whose patience had worn thin. 'We can't be putting bananas by. It's not the war years.'
This is the sort of bright, light, madness that Celebrity Big Brother is renowned for.
Hopkins' other finest moment was asking Alicia Douvall with a perfectly straight face (Hopkins that is – not Douvall, whose face is not remotely straight) about the parents at her three-year-old daughter's school: 'Do you think they think; 'oh God, it's the weirdo mum?'
Ouch. Break it to her gently...

'I had my implants hanging out on New Years Day !' she gasped, referring to the travails she suffered after her scars went septic. Her parents must be so proud.
Speaking of which, Price made quite an entrance – after being forced by Big Brother to select three housemates to put into a celebrity cooler.
'That was so f**king hard !' Katie cawed with characteristic crudity, before adding 'Hello mum! And kids!' Nice.
The subject of Katie Price's boob jobs were small potatoes (as it were) compared to the ugly scenes that surrounded her when she arrived.
Surprise! The CBB housemates were shell-shocked when Katie made her grand entrance on Friday night 
Nervous: 'That was so f**king hard !' Katie cawed with characteristic crudity, before adding, 'Hello mum! And kids!' The sight of Perez Hilton and Katie Hopkins taking each other on, dragging their supporters like Douvall, O'Neal, and Sawalha into the crossfire, was quite interesting but decidedly unpleasant and, even for fans of the show like myself, not that enjoyable or entertaining to watch.
The sight of Perez Hilton in his pants gyrating against his reflection in a mirror, moaning, and pretending to orgasm for example was enough to make most people want to turn off but turn on - let alone be turned on.
The war between Hopkins and Hilton is basically two bullies trying to bully the other into submitting to their will and thereby gain control of the house - like a tawdry, tacky version of Game Of Thrones (appropriately, considering Perez Hilton's resemblance to Tyrion Lannister).
Insults loaded with vile bile flew, which is not unusual on this show. (The tirades by the likes of Cami-Li and Chloe Goodman for example were explosive but standard fare.)
But the Hilton got out of bed and wandered over to where Alexander O'Neal was sleeping to cough over him, or Hopkins followed Hilton around threatening to bang frying pans over his head if he attempted to get any rest, was simmering with genuine malevolence.
O'Neal ended up calling Hilton 'a f****t' while Michelle Visage lambasted Hilton for the way he had represented the gay community.
Eventually Katie Hopkins did actually resort to violence (of a kind) - breaking the head off the rabbit Perez Hilton had been (ridiculously) carrying around.
Hilton's reaction was classically American – asking to see his lawyer.

O'Neal ended up calling Hilton 'a f****t' while Michelle Visage lambasted Hilton for the way he had represented the gay community In a scene that suggested he really had lost his mind, he then ostentatiously knelt down and – for the benefit of the cameras – declared: 'I would like to say a prayer now for Mr Buns. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. I will take solace knowing you will look after me in the Bunny afterlife' (#GetWellSoonPerez).
Inevitably, after all his bravado ('this season of Big Brother is The Perez Show') and nauseating vanity ('I am Big Brother'), when his attempts to rule the house the way that he does his website failed and he found himself being ostracised, he reacted as bullies tend to – by blubbing.
'I have tried with every fibre of my being to behave like a professional here...' he sobbed in the diary room, absurdly.
'He's so out-of-touch with who he is as a human !' snapped Michelle Visage.

In the end, Hilton's antics drove even Keith Chegwin to distraction, forcing Cheggers to disown him. Mind you, Chegwin himself didn't come over as exactly sane. Amidst all the mayhem, simmering tension, and hatred raging all around him, he nominated Kavana - for being messy.
The weekend ended with a sobering realisation for those of us who had seen so many Reality TV shows featuring such Z-list star over the years: that Calum Best is the most intelligent, well-adjusted, celebrity on this year's series. Pretty grim.
