A Tulsa police canine makes an arrest after a truck is stolen in Sapulpa.
We're told GPS tracked the driver to the Desert Hills Motel near 11th and Yale about 2:13 a.m. Wednesday, but he ran away when he saw police converge on the scene.
Tulsa Police Sergeant Mike Parsons said, "He only made it about four or five blocks but he was hopping fences the whole way so he was moving."
The police canine located 31-year old Kenneth Buckley hiding in a shed behind a nearby house.
He was treated for dog bites and was taken to jail.
The 2015 Chevy Tahoe had been stolen during a burglary at the Enterprise Rental Car location in Sapulpa.
We're told Buckley was wanted for robbery in California.
